Our faculty was established in accordance with the additional article 30 of the Law No. 2809, which entered into force on 28.03.1983, and with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 05.02.2010 and numbered 2010/131, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 04.03.2010 and numbered 27511, and after Atatürk School of Health was closed. Our faculty consists of five departments: Nutrition and Dietetics, Midwifery, Nursing, Speech and Language Therapy and Audiology.

Master’s Degree programs under the Graduate School of Health Sciences were started at the Department of Nursing in the 2001-2002 Academic Year and at the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics in the 2004-2005 Academic Year. These programs are carried out by the faculty members of the relevant departments of our faculty.

PhD Degree program at the Department of Nursing was started in the 2005-2006 Academic Year. The Department of Nursing trains PhD students in Internal Medicine Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Gynecology and Obstetrics Nursing, Public Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Surgical Nursing, and Nursing Principles.
